Every time you decide to lose weight
and get fit you don’t really plan
for failure, do you?
You plan to succeed of course.
**Picture this**
It’s friday and you’re telling
yourself “it’s my last blow out and
then i’ll start being healthy on
Monday.”
The infamous “D” day.
You start your diet with confidence
that you will lose weight this time
because your friend who has just
started the diet is doing really
well on it.
So this is it.
All your frustrations of waiting
for the body you want will finally
come to an end, and you can have
the same confidence as you did
when you were young.
In the first few weeks, you’re really
busy.
Struggling to stay focussed because
you’re taking care of everybody
else apart from yourself.
The new you hiding inside starts
to slip away.
After a couple of weeks in your
results slow down.
The numbers on the scales don’t
move.
Your body shape hasn’t changed much.
You start to blame yourself.
You blame the diet.
You begin to eat without a care
because you’ve lost your way.
And you forget about your plan
to succeed.
What if you did plan for failure
as well as success?
So when times get tough failure
is just a small part of your main
goal.
So mentally you plan for both outcomes,
so when either one happens you can
deal with it better.
Do you think a person that has lost
3-6-10 stone did it in one smooth
go without a hitch???
I highly doubt it.
So take into account failure IS
a part success.
The sooner you ‘suck it up’ and learn
to move on, I can promise
you that’s when the magic happen.
