Crush Cravings
Overeating before a workout can make you feel very ill. Eating to little can send your sugar levels dropping, which can make you feel horrible and sick.
Either way you have to eat at the right times of the day to crush cravings for good, and to stop those ill moments when you workout.
For people that exercise regularly, it’s far too easy to over eat. Without proper planning you can consume twice as many calories and not burn half of what you’ve eaten… just from your post workout binge. All because you didn’t have any food prepared ready to eat when your body was telling you that it’s hungry. So what’s the solution?
Eating regularly through your day, every 3 hours to be exact. Not only will this stop your cravings, this will also help you lose a tonne of weight too. After taking advantage of planned ready meals (made by you!) your body is SO much better of eating regularly because;
1. Your body needs fuel for it to not retain fat.
2. Stops your craving because you haven’t starved your body stupid amounts of hours.
So take advantage of ready planned meals and eat them before and after you workouts.
Filling yourself up with fruits, salads and soups can satisfy your appetite because of the high water and fibre content and prevents weight gain. You can also plan healthy snacks between main meals. Some days… (I have been there many times myself!) I didn’t plan my main meals ahead, but I ALWAYS carry a bag of mixed nuts and lots of fresh fruit in my car (as it’s basicly where I live during my working hours) so when my body said feed me, I had some ready to eat and not go hungry for hour on end. Which is not clever thing to do if you trying to lose weight. So you should do the same!

So follow these tips below:
- Keep sweets out of site!! Home, office, car… everywhere you normally hide or know of some unhealthy snack is living and waiting to be eaten. These foods can and will send your blood glucose levels through the roof and when levels drop you get the munchies again and eat more rubbish and too much of it.
- This is my biggest rule… Mine and the entire weight loss industry!! If you want to lose weight you MUST eat breakfast. And I don’t mean pills and shakes. Good quality foods that are slow release in energy to help keep you fuller for longer.
- Cut out wheat! Enough said on that!
- If you’re feeling peckish, could be because your body is thirsty. So drink 1.5 litre of water per day.
- Eat every 3 hours.
- Keep busy. Don’t sit around eat just because your bored. Do something else and take your mind of it!
- And if you really can’t resist chocolate. Start eating dark chocolate as it’s benefits are far better for you. But eat sparingly!
I hope this helps you with your cravings! It certainly does for me.
Thanks for tuning in!
