So yesterday I asked you: Do you know
what stops most people from taking
action on their goals?
I think only one person got it correct.
Only just…
It’s an easy one to answer: They don’t
believe it’s achievable.
For the purpose of this email lets say
Mrs Jones has a goal in place and
emotionally wants it but when it
comes down to the ‘nitty-gritty to get
decent results, it all falls apart
because it’s too much hard work.
She gave up too easily.
She got tricked into believing results
can happen instantly.
(From experience they can
but you can’t undo years of eating in
just 1 or two months).
She let wine and food get in the way of
her end goal, leaving Mrs Jones far
from reaching her desired goal.
Most of us have preconceived ideas about
what is and is not possible and
acceptable in our lifestyle.
For example, in the past, a moderate
chunk of my diet included healthy fats in
2 meals every single day. My mate, who
does a similar type of training to me, has
fat in every single meal, so almost double
the amount to what I had.
I did this for quite some time, so I
had nothing to compare it with until I
spoke to him about it.
At that time I felt like I plateaued a
bit but when I tested it out, my results
went through the roof, cravings reduced
massively and my all around health
improved.
Now, we’ll come to healthy fat at a later
date but the point I’m trying to make is
that my assumptions and preconceptions
were wrong, and the only way I found out
the truth was to try it out.
It might surprise you to discover this…
but fantastic results aren’t really a
matter of amazing magical diets.
No…..rather boringly, it’s about
relentless PURSUIT and DOING what works
instead of avoiding the truth and going
down a quick fix route.
Results take time, the sooner you
take that into consideration, the sooner
you will reach your goal by doing the
right things to achieve it.
Now what’s your next step?
