Don’t Read If You’re Too Posh To Push
Evening guys, before I get going on this rant, please do not read this if you are easily offended.
It makes me smile how easy people get put off from doing a little exercise in poor weather conditions.
I mean its not just the weather, it could be because you’re a bit tired, you didn’t sleep very well the night before, you’ve had a stressful day at work, you’ve got a headache, you’ve banged your toe, or you’re going to be 5 minutes late so it’s not worth turning up and will leave it for tomorrow.
If you’re this kind of person, then I have to say it……it’s an excuse!
If you want results then these minor bad days and weather conditions shouldn’t stop you from training and doing what is necessary to get results.
OMG it’s terrible out side…
It’s too cold… ‘You have winter clothes don’t you?
It’s too windy… ‘Yes you could get blown away’
Oh it’s too wet… ‘Yes you might melt’

If the British weather conditions were as bad as the recent storm in America then I would consider saying ‘sod it’ as well.
I’d be more worried about what ill use to stay a float…
If you’ve been in a cycle of setting yourself new years resolutions but not fulfilling them then something must have been missing when you set them in the first place…
‘This is the year I’m going to get fit and lose weight’
That doesn’t really sounds inspiring does it??? It wouldn’t inspire me, nor is it going to inspire you to get to where you want be.
It’s not very specific, or targeted and there’s nothing to aim for so before you know it you’re back into your old ways waiting for next year.
Try this….
‘I’m going to lose 3 stone over the next 5 months, so I can fit into a size …. Dress/suit, ready in time for my wedding/holiday and I will run 10k before my wedding!
Sounds a lot better doesn’t it??
Maybe you did do more and exercise through out the year, but never really achieved any goals or the results you were hoping for??
Your current state of health and fitness directly correlates to the effort you put into your current lifestyle.
So, if you are eating a kitkat and a sandwich everyday, then yes, you will have the love handles that will keep you warm throughout winter.
If you eat/drink dairy and alcohol regularly, then yes, you will struggle to lose fat from your legs and bottom.
Do you want to feel good in your own skin?
Then for a change to happen you need to grow a backbone and get on with it.
Adapt, plan and focus your life around your health, not the other way around.
Train like nobody is watching you and eat like a hunter-gatherer (fresh free range food).
Now, to get you into the zone way before the New Year.
Answer these questions honestly and truthfully and start taking action this Monday!
Do you have a clear goal written down and refer to them on a regular basis?
What are your top three personal goals?
Do you have a clear strategy for attainment of these goals?
How much weight/size do you want to lose in the next 12 months?
How do you want to look and feel in 5 years time?
If you’ve answered those questions then you have already started achieving but it might not be enough to keep you motivated.
Try my Jango Health & Fitness Success questionnaire and really get a feel for finding out your WHY, Your current reality and your GOALS.
